very garden is different. The site, the climate, the style of the house as well as the client and the client’s needs all dictate how the garden will evolve in terms of plants, feeling and style.
For me, it is important not only to assess the environmental requirements and parameters of the project, but to allow an educated and intuitive sense of what works best for the site and the client. Ultimately this is what will bring the client the most enjoyment from the results of our work. It is a process that evolves with discussion, observation and instinct.
